Terriblemente desordenados en el servicio. Deberían atender por citas. Reciben a un montón de gente que no pueden atender y los dejan esperando horas por el servicio. En mi caso esperé casi 2.5 horas y no recibí nada. La excusa fue que había poco personal y que quien debía atenderme era un empleado nuevo y estaba aprendiendo. Aún así atendieron a 4 personas que llegaron después de mi y nunca llamaron mi turno. En fin. Pésima experiencia. al menos atendieron a mi suegra pero le tocó todo el tiempo sola.

Primera vez en un bath house, Mattie fue muy atenta y me dio muchos hielos. El agua del baño estaba a 40°C, y era como hidromasaje. No recomiendo el sitz.

One of the two bathhouses you can still enjoy the hot spring water! The experience overall was okay - we paid for the deluxe package as there was a special. The downside was waiting for longer than the amount of time it took for my services. I went in the afternoon and waited for about an hour before going to the women’s area. They did have a limit to the amount of people that get massages. I spent roughly 5 hours with waiting and getting the massage, etc. since I went in the afternoon, everything was closed once I got out. I do recommend going for the experience, but I recommend going in the morning to avoid waiting so long!

The October package was nice, it was my first time in a bath house and when you are in hot springs you need to try and see how batch houses worked, so. It was fun. The bath and all was fine, but the hot towel under will make you sleep and the 20 min massage was worth the money. It was a nice experience and the batch house kept very neat.

Highly recommend. The friendly team coupled with a unique historic spa experience for a great price is worth every penny. To know what to expect, here are a few details. It’s walk-in, no appointments. After you sign up for which services you want at the front desk, you are led to the men’s or women’s bathhouse. I choose the deluxe package (for all services) with an expected time in the bathhouse of 2 hours.

First, women are escorted upstairs via an elevator and led to a private locker, where behind a curtain, you take off your clothes and put all of your belongings in a locker and take the key with you. Once you are naked, the attendant comes over and wraps you in a sheet. I felt like a Greek goddess. You go to the nearby sitting area where the bathhouse attendant will call your name. Then the fun begins!

First, you sit in a private tub and the attendant uses your loofah to scrub your back and feet. Then she turns on the whirlpool, gives you 2 cups of thermal water to drink and you soak for about 20 minutes . Heavenly!

Next, you lay on a massage table on a very hot towel while your shoulders & feet are also wrapped in hot towels. You are then covered with another hot towel. The attendant places a cool towel around your head and gives you ice chips. You lay there for about 10 + minutes. Divine!

You are then led to a steam box, where only your head is out; probably only for a few minutes. Then next to a sitz bath for your bum, lower back and hips. Feels great!

Next, a masseuse comes to get you (you are now wrapped in a dry sheet) and her magic fingers works on both sides of your body (20 minutes). So relaxing

Lastly, after dressing, you head over for your paraffin hand treatment. I’d never had this before. You choose which wax scent you would like (I chose lavender), and after dipping your hands 5x in the liquid wax they are covered in a plastic mitt and covered with another mitt. You wait for 10 min while the wax does its magic. My hands have never felt to soft before. Scrumptious!

And that’s a wrap! As you leave you can drop a tip into little envelopes for any of the team that provides a service. A shout out to Mattie, my attendant , and Danielle, my masseuse. Both exceptional!

You won’t be sorry. It’s so fun to experience what it must have been like over 100 years ago!

I enjoyed the “traditional bath house” treatment. I knew going in it was not going to be luxurious due to the fact it is original equipment and methods from 1912! . I really liked the historical aspect of it. The hot towels, bath, and steam cabinet were my favorite. I did not care for sitz bath. Glad I did it as it helped tie the history of Hot Springs into reality. Unique One of a kind experience for sure!

Old school bath house, not a spa. Great experience just to relax and recharge. Great price and the attendant takes care of you.

Crazy to think soaking in 4000 year old thermal springs. Recommend the full experience, 20/min bath, sits bath, steam cabinet, hot and cold towel, then cool down and 20 min swedish massage. So great, $100 bucks. No suits needed here, just walk in. Again, not a spa just a soaking experience.

I was waiting to go to buckstaff bathhouse from May 2022. My husband went there in May 2022. My parents went there in Oct 2022. My in-laws went there in Apr 2024. All of them had a great experience except me. I took the deluxe bathing package. Once I went upstairs, I was invited pleasantly by Kathy. I liked the way she eased me. Then I waited for 5 mins after keeping my stuffs in the locker. I was taken inside by Mattie and she asked me if it was my first time and showed me the restroom if I had to relieve myself. Then she took me to the whirlpool mineral bath where she wiped my back and foot with the scrub they gave me downstairs whereas everybody got scrubbed. I spent only 13-15 mins instead of 20 mins there. Then was the hot packs. It’s mentioned that I can be there until 15 mins but I spent around 8-10 mins there. Also in my opinion they have to replace the towels evety 5 mins. The towels became cold in 6 mins. Then is the vapor cabinet. I sat there literally for 3 mins and the steam was not hot enough to sweat me. I didn’t sweat a drop. I think the vapor cabinet was broke. Then it’s the sitz tub. I was allowed to sit there for only 5 mins which is supposed to be 10 mins. In every stage I felt I was treated differently with respect to the other customers. Everybody enjoyed all these 4 amenities for 20, 15, 5 and 10 mins respectively. They have to use a stop timer clock instead of looking at the wall clock. Then comes the massage. I was taken to the cooling room by Danielle. She stared the massage without asking the pressure level but I told her she can put more pressure but she didn’t seem to give a thought about it and continued the same way. Luckily she massaged for exactly 20 mins. I felt completely rejuvinated but I didn’t feel the WOW factor which my husband, my parents and my in-laws felt. The hand wax was great. Overall not great. I came to know about the timings in each item and the heat inside the vapor cabinet only after I came home. I went there early ever before they opened so that I can have fresh minds to work on me. I went there with back pain and my back didn’t feel better and is still there. I gave 2 tstars only for Kathy and the hand wax specialist. I didn’t feel $100 worth service. I would like the owner to train their employees to treat everyone equally and let the use the facility for the allowed time limit. Please check on the corner vapor cabinet. I visit hotsprings at least twice a year. We live in Texas. Anyways thank you for the service. Myself and my friend went in together but I came out 20 mins earlier than him. I should have gone to the receptionist and complained but I didn’t have time. I left my 2 year old at the hotel so I hurried back after I came out.
