We’ve been going to Bolder Barbershop since they opened here in Eagle and have never had an issue—until yesterday. My son got a haircut with Jay and unfortunately, it was a disaster. His long hair on top was thinned out so much that it looked like he was losing hair, even though he has a full, beautiful head of hair. The back wasn’t textured at all, and overall, it was probably one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever seen.

I called the shop right away and spoke with the manager, Melissa. She was amazing—professional, understanding, and so easy to work with. She had us come in immediately, fixed my son’s haircut herself, and did an incredible job. As a gesture of goodwill, she also offered a free haircut for the future.

While the initial experience was disappointing, Melissa’s exceptional customer service and skill completely turned things around. Thank you for making it right! This is why we’ll continue to trust Bolder Barbershop. However, I do hope they address this with Jay—it was truly a traumatizing experience!

I’ve been coming here for a year now and love everything about the experience. The location, environment/atmosphere, price value, scheduling, and especially my stylist, Sophia! She’s great at what she does and takes pride in her work. From what I can tell all the stylist are great with their clients….go check it out if you’re on the fence!

Jay was awesome. Been coming to this Barbershop for a couple of years and recently moved over to Jays chair. Very personable and understanding of what I was looking for. Would highly recommend Jay for your future cut.

Jay had great attention to detail, as he took the time to ask my son questions about how he likes his hair and made sure to clarify so he understood exactly what my son wanted. He went above and beyond! My son left there feeling great about his new cut and it was exactly how he wanted it. Will definitely be back to see Jay for haircuts.
