We’re not sure where to start for this absolutely incredible experience. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Blue Thistle. When beginning to look around for venues, I had done a quick Google search for places which accommodate small weddings in our area. Blue Thistle was the first venue we chose to peruse. I decided to book an appointment to see it for ourselves and the minute I spoke with Riley (who was very quick to respond), I knew we had found our location. To begin with, Riley is a kind, lovely woman, who genuinely wants to make your event perfect. Honestly, absolutely everything provided exceeded our hopes and expectations. The entire process of planning was so easy – from music, to our cake, photography, flowers, and everything in between. We cannot recommend this venue enough. A million thanks to Riley for giving us an unbelievable day, and memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

We had our wedding at Blue Thistle in June, and it could not have been more perfect. The chapel and the surrounding property is beautiful! Riley was incredible to work with and made sure every detail was planned for. She made the entire process feel so easy. We loved having Blue Thistle be our something blue!

Riley was always pleasant, kind, and helpful to work with during the weeks leading up to the event and her space was the perfect size for the 16th birthday party we hosted. I had a mini ceremony at Blue Thistle farm in May and it was the perfect day for my husband and I! The mini-mony package at blue thistle farm allowed my husband and I to hit all the traditional wedding moments while still being intimate and present during our celebration. Riley was a breeze to work with and genuinely loves to see people in love! She let me tour a couple times with ease and even let my son peek at the chickens in back! I went back and forth about what to do for our wedding celebration and the Blue Thistle Farm was the perfect compromise!
I got so many compliments on my bouquet as well, Riley made it all come together!

I feel very lucky to have found this hidden gem in the midst of wedding planning! My then fiancé and I visited the venue a couple of months before our wedding date and we were both immediately sold. Riley was very transparent and professional while also being super kind and helpful. She went through their services and answered all of our questions. Her all-inclusive venue took such a huge weight off my shoulders! She was incredibly helpful and very communicative when discussing details about the wedding, not overwhelming at all (which I appreciated a lot). Riley also showed to be very accommodating when things came up in the planning process/wedding and it made a HUGE difference. I had my wedding here August 17th 2024 and I absolutely do not regret choosing Blue thistle farm! From the owners of the venue to the caterers, everyone was complete top notch service and the food was amazing. Very kind and attentive! This venue was absolutely perfect for my 65-guest intimate wedding. My guests enjoyed how beautiful it was on the outside and how intimate it felt on the inside. I would recommend this venue!

We had our son’s first birthday party last month. We were so glad to find this place!! His bday theme was 1st rodeo so the farm matched the theme perfectly! Riley is very accommodating so we truly appreciated her.

If you’re considering booking an event here DO IT! This was the best first decision we made when planning our wedding. Riley is amazing, we were stress free and it turned out beautiful.

Blue Thistle is 2 hours away from us and if you’re getting married you know time is everything. But it was the one place that was first in line from all the other places we visited. We will definitely be back to celebrate possible baby showers etc.

After our wedding was over our family was talking about how wonderful Blue Thistle was and how smoothly our ceremony went. They all loved everything and everyone was happy. We are incredibly grateful for Riley.
