I love getting my hair done here. The staff is professional and always giving top quality; there are no off days going here. I usually get sew ins with closures that are beautiful and I included some photos BUT I also have healthy long hair under my sew ins as well! When I take a break from protective styles my natural curls are gorgeous, healthy and amazing! Because the salon is always focused on healthy and beautiful hair, I get to take advantage of the top training that the stylists consistently participate in so I have the best hair care! Highly recommend visiting this salon to eliminate any hair worries or stress!

I booked Cheyenne from style seat. She did an amazing job on my silk press however my experience was not as great as what everyone else’s seems like. I am new to Atlanta and i didn’t know anyone to do my hair so I looked on style seat. I wanted someone who would be good with natural hair because I know most people aren’t. I had taken my braids down 2 days prior to my appointment. I did my best to detangle my hair but I have 4c hair so it was not detangled well and I admit that.
When I walked in there was about 5 or so people in the salon. I had my hair in a puff and Cheyenne asked if I detangled my hair and I told her not very good. She tells me rudely “you’re gonna have to detangle it before I can work with you”. She hands me a brush and a clip in front of everyone and I sit there and detangle my hair. This was extremely embarrassing for me.
Where I’m from, every salon does detangling as a part of their service. And I would have been fine being charged extra if needed. Throughout the time I did not feel like my hair was treated gently at all it was ripped through from root to tip instead of gently being work up to from tip to root. After washing my hair Cheyenne sent me to sit in a seat to air dry with no extra towel so I sat there with loads of water dripping on me and my clothes. Only several seconds later did she offer to give me a towel after I had mostly manually dried it myself. I wanted to leave the entire time but style seat takes half your money anyway plus Cheyenne had already rescheduled my appointment from 11 to 3 and I had important engagements to attend in which I wanted to be presentable.
Being natural is extremely hard which is why I enjoy going to salons to pay a professional to do what I do not wish to do. Never in a million years did I think that I would sit in a salon where I am to pay someone to do my hair but I’m handed a brush and told to do it myself. I feel like I wasted my money on a terrible experience I did not feel relaxed nor happy during my time there. But my silk press is nice. This is just one experience however and im sure outside of this Cheyenne is great. I will not return to figure out.

By far this was my best experience with getting my hair professionally styled. Cheyenne was very gentle with my natural hair, she had the best customer service and I was glad she used products I was familiar with. The salon was very clean. Cheyenne gave me the most beautiful silk press. I look and feel so beautiful. It's safe to say I've found my new stylist when my natural hair needs a break. She is very knowledgeable in natural hair and has helped me grow natural and healthy hair over the years. She is always perfecting new techniques. Scheduled a wash, blow-dry and a trim for early in the morning. The salon looks great, is very clean and has a really modern aesthetic. Cheyenne's also a pro. She was on time, asked questions to figure out the best way to help my hair. And all around great vibe, and good conversation. Definitely recommend.
