I feel like this review is long overdue.

Awesome Automotive was a place I found when I first moved to Crestwood back in 2021. Prior to that I was seeing a mechanic down in Chicago that I went to for years because the mechanic was honest, transparent, and didn't try to sell you things that were not necessary in regards to the maintenance of your car. Finding a shop like that is normally a needle in the haystack which is why I never delved away from them for a long time.

I was in a situation of need one day w a car purchase and I found out that awesome Automotive is one of those needle in a haystack type of shops. As time went on, slowly but surely, this has become my go-to location for anything mechanical related due to it being walking distance of my house if i need to leave my car there for longer term repairs, so the convenience was definitely an upsell for me on top of their great service too. Great shop to get work done on your car. I have nothing bad to say about them whatsoever.

From the first phone call Tracey at the front desk made me feel very welcome and I was lucky to get in right away. I had a very bad pulsing issue with my brakes and after a full inspection she let me know all the details of what could be done and exactly what NEEDED to be fixed. I wasn't pressured on anything I didn't need and they did a fantastic job on fixing my issue,not only are my brakes smooth as ever my car feels way better than it ever did before. Great people and service I will continue to bring my car to Awesome!

I can not say enough good things about the crew at awesome auto they have been taking care of all my cars for a few years. They really are an amazing group of people. Ed dose good work and dose not give you the run around they work with there customers. Tracy is awesome at getting all of tour car repairs scheduled and she is great at keeping you updates on the car as the repairs take place.

This auto repair shop is the very best I have encountered. Their work is
excellent and I have never had to return my car for rework. Appointments are honored in a timely fashion. My car is a 2004 Honda Civic and Ed has
keep this car in excellent running condition for quite a number of years.
I can only thank Ed and his wife for the fantastic service for many years. I will never take my car anywhere else. Their prices are fair and they
service my car as well as my daughter's and grandson's cars.

The staff at Awesome are a very friendly, fair and honest group. Sitting on the fence of keeping or getting rid of my 90s Toyota that I enjoy driving to this day, I decided to get a quote from them based on recommendations about their very competitive pricing, customer service, and my preference to support small business. The car had a massive oil leak, so I knew it would be costly. They took great care in finding all of the potential leaks and changed the timing belt for an excellent price that wasn't as bad as I had thought. The car now is running great , fun to drive again, and holds off car payments for what I hope to be a long time.

I took my car to Awesome Automotive on the advice of a friend who was very pleased with their work on his car. I had an electrical issue that I believed to be the alternator. Since the location was beyond my ability to get to, I took it to Awesome. They not only took care of it that same day, but drove me home and picked me up when the cat was ready. Their price was quite fair and the work was great. I will return in the future.

After arriving from California, I needed a mechanic. My son had been to Awesome and sent me there. My Toyota warranty was just up and I refused to pay dealer prices. This is where it all started. Awesome Automotive is more than just a place to take your car for repairs, it is a Family business. To say they do a great job is an understatement. To say the pricing is fair is another understatement. To say the pride they take in the work they perform is wonderful is, yep, an understatement. I'd like to know what mechanic you've been to where you can leave your credit card number and not worry about theft? Awesome is where! Myself, my son and my 85 year old mother all go to Awesome and will NEVER go anywhere else. You have a mechanic you've been going to for years you say? You are looking for a mechanic that does real work and doesn't over charge? You are looking for a Family environment with ethical work? Really sweet, genuine and friendly staff. Definitely go here if you need any kind of work done on your car.
