I went in for a trim before a wedding and to my surprise I got botched. I thought anyone could do a trim so I got a girl who I guess was very inexperienced and she convinced me to get a few framing pieces in the front and to my surprise when I turned around it was a long ish bang and the rest of the hair was chest length so I told her she needs to blend it. Well turns out she doesn’t know how to do that so she just kept cutting the same length but more hair. I told her she needs to stop bc she keeps cutting the same length and it’s not getting blended so she went to grab another stylish who tried to help as much as she could but it was too late. Their only recommendation was to just let it grow…. So I will definitely never go to this salon again. For your own benefit, avoid booking with Summer.

Very disappointed after going to this salon for years now. A few months ago, I went in to get a trim. A new, inexperienced stylist was cutting my hair. She accidentally cut a very large chunk of hair to almost the back of my head at chin length, instead of framing pieces. She then tried to blend it in, but ended up extremely and unevenly thinning out the bottom of my hair.

Make sure you check your stylist before getting your hair cut and ensure your stylist has experience. After days of calling and emailing to request to speak to a manager, another stylist did finally fix my hair as best as they could, which I am grateful for. I had to cut off another several inches and get bangs to make it look somewhat better. It has been a few months now and I had to cut even more hair off, as it was still very uneven. It will take years to grow back the hair the stylist erroneously cut. Be careful.

Love the atmosphere and everyone we’ve interacted with at this salon. The reception team always seems to be able to work magic to get us in. My daughter has Ryan cut/style her hair. He is always so wonderful with her and she leaves feeling amazing about her look. As the mom of a preteen-having this incredible boost for her confidence and the way she walks through the world means so much to me. Thank you, Ryan for the incredible job you do each and every time.

I don't recommend getting a facial here. I got the signature facial with Julie for the first time, and while the massage part was relaxing, I left with my face super irritated and oozing from her aggressive extractions. I thought it would get better the next day, but it didn't. My face has now scabbed and hyperpigmented. It's going to take weeks to heal, and I now have to walk around with my face all scarred. I asked for a refund, but they told me this is normal because i had breakouts. I'm not a professional, but I'm pretty sure having scabs on your face after a facial is not normal. Proper extractions dont do that and as you can see in the before picture i didnt have any crazy breakouts. They denied my refund and offered me a soothing mask instead and told me to buy neosporin to put on it. I dont feel comfortable letting them touch my face anymore, so I declined. Really disappointed that not only did they damage my face, but then also refused to give me a refund and proceeded to gaslight my experience, saying it's normal. If it's normal, well, then this is what you can expect from your facial here, I guess. Sad because I've been going here for haircuts and brow services for years, and I guess I have to find a new salon now.

I am the type of person to always leave positive reviews but this unfortunately is where I am at. I came in for a color appointment where I was told one thing and delivered another. I received a botched "balayage" and was told to wash it 6 or 7 times and I'd like the color better or only then should I come back in. It wasnt only the color that was the problem, it was the overall "bleach and tone" look that was done leaving a ring of roots about 3 inches around the base of my head and blotchy lightened ends worse than if I had applied it myself at home. I had called that same day because it was just not ok and told if I wanted it corrected I had to go to the same person who didn't have any evening or weekend availability. I took PTO to come back in and all that was done was a bleach wash and a new toner, no correction to the lightening/roots...and I was CHARGED for a blowout. I ultimately paid over $300 for a horrible job and the salon didn't reach out at all following the experience. After getting my hair fixed somewhere else and taking time to let this pass by, I just couldn't let it go. I reached out to speak to management in hopes this would help prevent a situation like this from happening again and to possibly get at least the additional charge for the blowout refunded. I was told to send pictures and after two weeks of no response I followed up. I get a two-sentence response saying because I waited to follow up about my experience they would not be refunding me. Their salon posts beautiful hair on their instagram and I believe the majority of their staff put out great work but the way they handled this experience just sits terribly with me. I hope this prevents anything like this from happening in the future.

Very disappointed long term customer. When I was there for my most recent haircut, at the end, my stylist said ‘the shop raised my rates for 2024.’ When checking out, the price went to $47, a $12 jump in cost. I feel as a loyal customer, the situation could have been handled more professional by telling me when I made the appointment or when I arrived to check in. If it were a few dollars, it would be different, but that is a big increase all at once for a simple haircut.

Apotheca exceeded my expectations. The moment I walked in the door, everyone was so kind and friendly. Every staff member treated me like I was a regular and made me feel right at home.

Ale gave me a partial balayage. She did exactly what I was hoping for without any hesitations.

I will definitely be back!

Changed to this salon 12/21 and I have received the cut that I have been searching for for 30 years - have curls with no perm - love my stylist Ryan! Fun and professional and he is invested in how your hair comes out! 1.12.24 still loving my hairdresser!
