I highly recommend Emily with Alaska Massage and Motion. She is always easy to schedule with and quick to respond when I request an appointment. Before each session, Emily asks if there is an area I'd like her to focus on or if I'm experiencing any pain or concerns. She really takes the time to listen and accommodate me. During my sessions with Emily, she's quick to adjust and spend more time in a problem area; sometimes it's my shoulders and others it's my lower back. Emily's been great to work with and I feel lucky to have found someone who is as talented as her.

Emily was amazing. She was able to pinpoint my problem and give me pain relief from the pain I had had for 6 months. the pain that I had has not come back and it has been 2 months. Most importantly She let me know why the pain was happening and what muscles were involved and what exercises to do to prevent the pain from returning. The BEST massage therapist I have ever had!

Emily is powerful and skilled, yes. I very much appreciate her interest in my tweaks that she follows up with a possible anatomical reason. And, after zeroing in in the problem area, she sends me home with exercises to strengthen that spot.

I recommend Emily to all my friends. She's got strong hands, good vibes, and an approach that leans towards analyzing why my muscles are tight or weak or otherwise problematic. She doesn't claim to be doing physical therapy, but she's really good at pointing out places I may want to bring up with my physical therapist!

Emily is awesome! She is extremely skilled at deep tissue massage and fascia release. I went to her with a few very tight areas and in just an hour she had me feeling the absolute best I have felt in months! She was also very helpful, recommending certain exercises to help alleviate issues I’ve been dealing with. Overall just a wonderful person and therapist!
