My old barber from Woodridge, Bob Crosby, returned to town from a long Florida visit and has now got a chair at Adolph's. Bob is an expert barber. Elaine is excellent, as well. Prices are good, and service is quick. No appointments are needed and minimal wait time.

*Did not ask for or receive services. I normally don't post a review if I have not received services but this highlights the character of the person at the salon*

My kids, friend and I were walking by the salon on a Sunday afternoon at their close. My kids walked by and pushed their nose up to the glass to see what was inside. Immediately, the door opened and I was berated for allowing my kids to do that. The women very aggressively told me that she had just cleaned the window and I should not allow my children to do that.

Listen lady. It's the outside of a window on a busy street downtown Lisle. I even offered to clean it and she said that I was making poor choices as a mother.

I hope she was just having a bad day. I wouldn't recommend that you support someone who snaps at children and parents. Unprovoked.

Very friendly and professional place to get your hair cut. They take their time and their prices are a little too fair in my opinion for what you get, I'm surprised they don't charge more. You'll also get a very pleasant straight razor shave on the back of the neck at the end, and in general this barber shop has a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and I will definitely be coming back from now on!

Long story short, if you live nearby, know about this barber shop, and still continue to go to a "great/sportsclips" type place, then you're only missing out and I feel sorry for you.

Nothing bad to say about this place, come here if you need a proper haircut, these wonderful ladies will take care of you.

Today was our first time here. Carolyn the barber that took us was awful, disrespectful, rude, doesn't know how to interact with people, and does not understand or listen to what you want done with your hair. For my luck there was Elaine who ended up finishing my sons hair. I only give three stars to this location because of how helpful, nice and attentive Elaine is and how she truly cares about her clientele. Dont let Carolyn put her hands into your hair, you will regret it. If this location really care about their business they should consider replacing Carolyn.

Wonderful barber. Very approachable and very talented. After a few words as to what I wanted done, she instinctively knew what I needed.
I have received several compliments today. I will be back. If you are looking for a place that's not pretentious look no further. Great Customer service and talent is found here. I am so pleased with my cut and my Lisle Barber.

Best true barber's cut in driving distance.

Hard to find a true barber shop that will use a straight razor to really give you the clean cut look.

Always friendly and repeated quality service from all four barbers.
