The barber Zo has been cutting my son hair for the last couple of years and has become the only person I trust to do my son hair the way I like it. After searching for a barber I finally found someone that was patient with a child (at the time), clean cuts, and that perfect sharp lining that sets a haircut off. If looking for a barber I definitely recommend giving him a try. Go on Booksy now and get yourself right, you won’t be disappointed!!

We had Raphael (sp?). We happened in by chance as we came out from the Dekalb area for our Nephews Birthday. We walked up contemplating and unsure if they did littles and we were warmly welcomed and waved in. Our 1 year old was in BAD need of a cut and it was his first time at a Barber Shop. What a wonderful experience. Did great with my toddler & then my husband also got cleaned up and man he's never looked more attractive! We may make this a thing and make the drive in just to get the boys done up right. Raphi (sp? Sorry if I'm butchering spelling and names!) stayed late and even got the Birthday Boy (nephew) in at the end too. What a confidence boost for these boys. Thank you so much! We will definitely be coming back out.
- also some other reviewers unfortunately have stated how "white boys" weren't welcome. My husband's a translucent ginger and my son is blonde and blue eyed. We were treated right and the cuts were superb. Raphael was personable, attentive, and took great care to make sure we had a great experience. He came off as a family man and just a good soul. I've been coming to Ralph for about four years now. I've tried other places, but Ralph does the best job. Perfect flat top every time.. I most definitely recommend this place!

I know they're also looking for more people to do hair. Hit them up if you know anyone. They're looking for more than just fades..he mentioned braids and dreads too..

I have been bringing my 3 younger sons there for almost 2 years. Today only brought in 2 of my boys. Barber that did my youngest did great job and was fair on price. When my older son was finished, there was confusion on how to pay for the cut, and then the owner gouged me for an additional 13 dollars more than the other cut. Even charging me to cover his app fee for business transactions, between my son's and myself, normally we come in on the same day, and there are 4 of us. I normally tip well , I'm a disabled veteran that appreciates good work and I tip well, ace of fades just lost a lot of business.

I literally just tried walking in and an older gentleman welcomed me in warmly. He called for a "Mani" in the back. A kid in a red shirt came out and said, "I don't do white boys." I turned around and walked out.

If you're a white guy, apparently you're not allowed to get a haircut there. Sad.

To the nice older guy in there, I wad the fat white guy with jean shorts and blue Duluth sweatshirt.

Ralph is great! Very professional ! And a great sense of humor and phenomenon at being a barber ! Known him since I was a little girl before having a son! Now he’s 8 and always get him right

Clean, professional atmosphere. I bring my two young boys to get faded up by Ralph (aka: Ralph da Barber). Highly recommend him, have not had cuts by any of the other barbers but I have witnessed others getting faded while I was waiting for my kids, and one of the younger barbers in there seems to do just as phenomenal as Ralph, but I can only review personal experience with Ralph. Trying this place out was the greatest decision I’ve made, especially for one of my sons who is bi-racial (Arabic Black and White) which I always struggled to get any satisfaction in most common franchise hair cut places. Being white, I didn’t understand why these other places ended up cutting his hair to look very odd for his type of hair. I am so glad to find that Ace of Fades could cut his hair, and my other all white son’s hair beautifully and was ethnically specialized in finally getting both of my sons cuts to be on point. They always come out looking fresh as can be always, even being 3, and 5yrs old and despising hair cuts, and super wiggly during the cut. Ralph is old school, with many years of experience in the game and I could never be happier leaving. ***(after each appointment, I promise my boys candy from their quarter candy machines to reward them for behaving and allowing him to do their cuts although I know they dread it, and ~IF Ralph doesn’t go get his key and unlock the tops for them to get as much as they can basically hold, rather then the quarter worth that it would dispense, He has gone in his own pocket for them to use several quarters and get more candy. AND at the first appointment I was given direct phone number for Ralph and told that whenever I needed to get them in to just shoot him a text and he will get us in or set appointment requested, it makes you feel more like a friend then a client for him to remember who you are more personally than just another recognizable face returning~ !!! Doing this goes so far above and beyond a quick, borderline satisfactory kids cut at a Great Clips. The experience is so respectably personable. I highly recommend anyone who needs there hair cut, faded and done right to try out Ace of Fades !

Ralph took care of my son. Did a great job on his cut & brows. It was our first time in and he made us both feel comfortable. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and professional. We'll definitely be back and will be referring our friends & family!!
