I clearly had a lung infection - even the X-rays showed signs of inflammation - besides the congestion in my chest you could plainly hear. They refused me antibiotics because I originally came in for the flu - even though the flu is known for turning into pneumonia - on top of that I expressed to the doctor my history of bronchial issues since childhood. I knew it was infected. But they allowed the radiologist to determine if I even received antibiotics. I never spoke to the radiologist once during my visit. They never looked at me or spoke to me. They had no clue about my history or anything. Then the radiologist claimed there was "nothing" on my x-rays when they filled the paperwork but there was clearly signs of inflammation - cloudy spots - on my lungs, even my 3 year old childs. Because of that, they refused me antibiotics. I went to another walk-in NGPG location and guess what - I had an infection and they prescribed me antibiotics. Then they charged me $100 for my x-rays when I am $0 liability and my insurance company said it was a coding issue on their end. When I contacted billing she argued with me and said that she has a 100 patients with my insurance company and the insurance doesn't pay for x-rays. The funny thing is - they do and have paid for my x-rays at other walk-ins NGPG locations. Then she told me she's never heard of them saying it was a coding issue before - like I was lying. Then I told her how they told me either way I'm $0 liability she told me that's not the information she has. Why is it the other walk-ins never have issues billing my insurance. And just because 100 people have my insurance company - does that mean we are all exactly the same? My insurance told me to call them if they gave me trouble. So now I have to spend my lunch break on hold so I can fix what should have never been an issue to begin with. Both billing and the desk people (not the one who checked me in - but the one who sits towards the back and is a RN) were so rude and disrespectful. I couldn't believe this was their bedside manner and customer service. Worst ever.

I've had many excellent medical experiences. However, these experiences were at NGPG. My experience at Accordia was about as bad as it gets. I granted 2 stars because I liked the NP that I saw. As for the office staff, there is a toxic combination of incompetence, inadequacy, impoliteness, indifference and dishonesty.

I had to call 3 times on Monday and my husband once to get my lab results. The first time I called, I was told by the receptionist that I would have them by the end of the day. I eventually became skeptical and called again, where I had to politely yet firmely press for my labs and a manager cleared it - after the receptionist (the one that had earlier promised them by the end of the day, refused). Why? They said it was bc I needed to talk them over with the doctor. I'm glad I did press as I had time sensitive issues that impact my daily comfort. Moreover, the review was a total cash grab. A 2 minute phone call would have sufficed or an email, but then insurance couldn't be billed. They also only had my metobolic pannel.

In addition to all of this, I waited nearly an hour and a half. The good news is that while I was waiting I got to kill and count the roache(s) in the facility.

Go to NGHS. ITS WORTH THE DRIVE.

I enjoy the people and the NP there but every single time I go, I wait in the empty lobby over an hour. Then I go into a room and wait on someone to come in for 30 min. Then I wait for them to write a prescription or discharge papers for 30 -45 minutes. Nice people but UNBELIEVABLY slow.

Last time I went, the person that saw me looked in my mouth and said "Wow, that looks like strep. We're going to treat it like strep." Then prescribed antibiotics. That visit took 3 hours.

I’m new to the area and went in very sick with no energy and everyone was kind and quick. Was seen in about 30 minutes after filling out paperwork which was fast considering there were 4-5 other people in front of me and I was a walk-in. Took about 10 minutes to get lab results for all the usual tests. They got me fixed right up.
I will definitely come back and recommend to my family and anyone else in the area needing care.

Taylor Harkness is an awesome NP. I came in with a really deep laceration on my heel right at the end of the day and he stayed late to stitch me up. He was really friendly and funny, made me completely comfortable, and walked me through everything he was doing. His kindness went above and beyond what was expected, and it is truly appreciated. I know it sounds crazy but I actually had a fun time thanks to him. The rest of the staff was really polite to me as well. I went to the right place!

I normally don’t take the time to review health care facilities because I feel they deserve credit for the excellent work that do for us the people of this town. I truly appreciate having a go to place when I need it. But recently I visited the Cornelia location and had to wait for over two hours to be called for examination and upon entering the examination office I was somewhat disappointed at the conditions and lack of professionalism.
I am attaching a picture of the examining table since it had no cover and it was dirty. Not likely for health care facility.
But he PCA was a great listener, she indicated I had the FLU but no test was performed
They prescribed tema flu and a couple of other medication that have helped me a lot.
Today a ran a self Covid test at home and it was positive for COVID. So I was somewhat concerned that I am taking a medication for Flu and not to help with Covid.
I figure you need to know these things to improve your services because we really need you in town.
Sincerely,
Rail Alvarado
