Our family has been seeing Kris at the salon. Kris does a great job talking with my kids, asking them what they want, and giving them the BEST hair cuts that grow out. After seeing and experiencing such a great job on the kids, I decided to get my hair done. I’m so low maintenance and Kris always makes sure to take that in account when she does my hair. She’s even done my big chop. Thanks Kris for helping us all be brave with new styles!

In response to the owner:
I’m unsurprised that you accept no fault. Yes I leave warranted bad reviews I also leave as many 5 star reviews for great service. You lost all credibility when you said I insulted the stylist. That’s not at all anything I’d ever do. Totally unprofessional. I kept my mouth shut as she scrubbed bleach/dye into my hair with a brush, washed it out and said “wow that’s very orange” and started brushing at it and said “your hair is very tangley”. I remained polite the whole time despite how worried I was due to being used to a more professional setting. Like I said due to both me and my stylist taking vacations, our schedules just couldn’t line up and I tried y’all out. If you felt my hair wasn’t something you could work with you should have suggested an alternate service as I was completely open to suggestions as I mentioned upon arrival.

My worst salon experience so far. Got dye on my favorite jeans and tried to charge me $190 (talked her down to $150, I’m an idiot for paying anything at all) for greenish brown color that’s is uneven and a multitude of colors reddish one side greenish the other. No cut. The dye they use smells like rotting cabbage. There was a lot of hair that was old and dusty under the shelves. They didn’t seem to have the right tools, a brush but no comb. The stylist had long fake nails and they got in the way of a good shampoo. She looked concerned the whole time and unsure and when I asked for reassurance like will those stripes blend in and does it look ok will it look ok she was like hmm yeah I think so. I could have done a much better job myself without totally frying my hair with bleach. It’s so damaged. If you can’t do light brown just say so.

Christina does the best job cutting and coloring my long thick hair! I have been coming to her for many years and she always does exactly what I’m looking for. My hair can be hard to manage because it is so thick and Christina does a great job keeping my hair tamed!

I have been a customer since the doors opened in 2008 with just Christina, the owner, doing what she does !! She cares about you and what you want. I have gone from just a few highlights 10yrs ago to some bold and crazy colors !! I love her and her suggestions . When you have "a person" you trust with your hair, its hard to go to someone else. But her girls are just as amazing as Christina is. Krystal did my hair a few times when Christina was out of town, and to be honest I was nervous ... but she did amazing!!
I use the products they sell at the salon and my hair is the healthiest its ever been and my color stays true until my next appointment. I recommend A Nu Do ? ... try it .. you will not be disappointed !!

Kris is absolutely the best! Kris does a great job of getting to know her clients including my two teenage boys. She’s always honest about what hair styles are most ideal for their type or hair. Kris is timely with her appointments, but also spends the right amount of time with each client. We highly recommend Kris!

Started with a deep purple color- wanted to go back to blonde. Now, I KNEW it would take several sessions to accomplish and I wasn’t expecting to be blonde overnight. However, after a total of 8 hours in the chair and almost $700 spent, the only subtle difference in my hair is less purple. Kris was confident the second full bleach application would create some change, it literally did nothing. $400 that session to have no noticeable results. When I reached out to her about being unhappy with the results and amount spent, Kris never responded. She never offered to fix it, give me a refund, or simply apologize! She felt it more appropriate to completely ignore me.

Christina at A Nu Do is the BEST! She is in charge of taking care of myself and my kiddos. I have used her for 10+ years, and I will never let anyone else touch my hair. She cares about you, and how you feel! Christina is also a great supporter of the community, and a great business owner!

If you are looking for a change, you will not be disappointed! She and her team will take great care of you!
