I'm living in Durango for a few months and after reading reviews, I scheduled highlights and a cut with Andrea. And wow, it has been years since I left any salon and felt great about both! Like the 'old days' she pulled out those hair color charts so I could help show her what I wanted whereas many stylists just randomly mix colors that always left my hair yellow and brassy. Andrea not only used the charts as a starting point, she custom-mixed exactly what I wanted - an ash blonde color.

I can't stress enough, from the color to the cut, how wonderful it was to walk out of a salon and be excited about both. We all know what a great cut feels like. You keep running your hands through it because it feels so nice.

We all know how pricey color and cuts can be but when you find someone like Andrea who is exceptionally skilled in color and cut, I didn't leave feeling disappointed that price didn't match the service. What she did for my hair exceeded my expectations!

I told her, she's a stylist I will drive or fly back to because she's a rare gem in her industry.

I have been seeing Sara for cut/color for appx 2 years now. For years I struggled to find someone who understood thick, coarse hair. Other stylists that I had gone to in Durango wanted to just bleach the heck out of my whole head. I had almost given up on finding a stylist who would listen to what I wanted - more depth, foils, etc. Well, I moved to Colorado Springs over a year ago and I DRIVE to Durango every 8-9 weeks in order to have Sara do my cut and color. I get compliments on my hair consistently!! As long as Wolf Creek Pass is open - I'll be driving to Sara. The 6 hour drive is well worth me being happy with my hair. My son got married two weeks ago and before the wedding Sara did some "sample updos" so that I could take pictures to give to the wedding stylist. In addition, Sara and her adorable dog Millie are a blast to visit with. Thank you Sara for listening, for taking the time with my mop of hair, and for the beautiful results!! You ROCK!!!

Andrea is absolutely amazing at color and cuts. I’ve spent the last twenty years bouncing around from one hair stylist to another - always leaving disappointed. My hair tends to color on the red side and no matter what I told past hair stylists they could never get the color right. I paid Sara $200 for almost black color. The trim itself was $60. The color came out in 3 washes. I reached out to try and remedy the situation and said she could not remember what we did to my hair. After sending a picture she did not respond. I will definitely not be coming back.
