I’m new to the area, so it took me a little while, but I have found MY barber!!! I’m getting married in two weeks, and my fiancé suggested that I use her two son’s barber, Earl. I needed a haircut and my beard trimmed. She set an appointment for me online and I walked in and immediately was impressed with the setting. It’s like walking into an old time barber shop. I was surprised there weren’t a bunch of guys just sitting around and chewing the fat while Earl gave haircuts. But it was just Earl and me. I usually get a haircut every 3-4 weeks, but it had been 6 or 7 weeks since my last haircut. So I told Earl I was getting married in two weeks and I usually cut my hair very short (to the point I can’t even comb it, I just have “bed head” all the time), but I told Earl that since I’m getting married, my hair and beard were at his disposal and I wanted his recommendations on what would look best on me. He suggested a “gentleman’s cut”for my hair and to taper the beard to elongate my face. I said that sounds great! Over the next 30-45 mins I had one of the best barber experiences I’ve ever had. Earl is a great guy to talk to. Plus he kept checking with me to make sure I was okay with what he was doing, which I was. Once the Gentleman’s cut was complete and he made sure I was happy with it, he moved on to the beard trim. I’ve only had a beard since the beginning of the year, so I’ve been struggling to figure out how I should trim my beard. But Earl knew exactly how I should have it for the shape of my face and head. When he was done he explained what he did and told me that if I need a trim before the wedding to give him a call. It was a great experience! And like I said, I have found MY barber!!! Thanks Earl!!!

Outstanding job! Quaint old timey vibe when you first walk in, which fits being Earl was trained classically with straight razors and no gaurds on trimmers. Excellent hair and beard trim magician. Great personality and well worth a visit!

Great place to get a haircut in Grand Junction. Easy to schedule appointments, great service, and a fair price! If you are looking for a barber in the area, after trying a few different ones myself, I would highly recommend you see Earl.
