Hand and Sone Massage and Spa has been a great experience for me, especially w/the wonderful, caring and excellent therapist I have encountered, Daniella Chovan. Because of her unique talents w/deep tissue massage, I have been able to continue playing the sport I love, pickleball! She has the unique ability to know the right pressure and where my body needs help the most. I highly recommend her and this spa!

So far I love it! Everyone was friendly, they have a lot of offers going on before the official opening which I believe is on June 3rd. Since I signed up for the newsletter and I joined a waiting list to get a massage I become a message with the offer of a free Massage! I'm very exited to get it done this week and I will be updating more information and hopefully some pictures about my visit/experience.

I had my massage and I can say I feel like new. I got asked where I wanted to be focus on(full body or specific parts). Also how I would like the pressure to be. I felted definitely so good after. It was worth and I can't wait to get another one.

Every experience I’ve had at this location has been awful. I should’ve stopped going after the first couple encounters but it is in the perfect location for my schedule. My first couple bad experiences included scheduling errors. I showed up for a 9am service and my service provider never showed. They did not call me until I came in for the appointment. Life is busy things happen, I understand. The next schedule issue involved online booking. Multiple times I have attempted to schedule online appointments through the app to either show up or get a call that the appointment was not actually available and then there’s no one there. So easy fix stop using the app after they assured IT was fixing or blocking out being allowed to schedule.
The next strike was getting a diamond glow service and leaving with bruise dots all along my neck . They assured me that this has never happened and that the diamond glow machine was missing a tip. Now they do attempt to make things right and give extra points or free upgrades or whatever. At this point it is a management and experience issue. So not going back to this location was not a huge deal.

Now to the real issue. Algonquin is my home spa and they carry my membership . For the last 10 months I have been charged membership fees for both Hoffman and algonquin. I never signed agreement papers for Hoffman. When they looked up if my card was shared to other accounts nothing came up . After digging they found an account, that has been active, under a different name with my personal card attached. How does this even happen in the first place!? How does my card end up on someone’s else account? This is a huge employee error and FRAUD. After contacting the spa they told me they will issue a refund . That’s all i wanted, it the best they can do…right ? She told me her system only allows refunds up to 6 month prior to the date and she would need corporate to unlock the other months I was charged. I did receive the 6 month refund . However, my calls have been dodged for the last week trying to contact the spas manager in order to find out why the 4 month refund has not been issued. I still have not been contacted back and no one can provide me with information to a higher manager. I wanted to handle this the right because mistakes happen. However, the constant mistakes and improper management of this spa needs to be addressed.

My experience at this hand and stone has been nothing but amazing! From the moment I walk in to the moment I leave the front desk is always attentive and courteous. I’ve recently received a facial from Ashley and let me tell you she’s a professional! Not only was my service relaxing but also super educational. She’s helped me tackle the concerns I have about my sensitive skin and acne scars. She’s always pointed me in the right direction when picking out new products to try and which ones to avoid! This is my second time booking with her and already planning to book again.

My first time at Hand and Stone. Waiting area is very cozy and welcoming. The receptionist asked if I wanted a water very attentive. Daniella was my massage therapist and was AMAZING! She is very knowledgeable with tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis issues. Made me feel very welcomed. The rooms had nice beds that are cushioned. Great time spent and will be coming back here!

I have only had two massages in my life and both of them were at this place (once with Lupe and I cannot remember the other woman’s name I’m sorry) so I have nothing to compare it to but oh my god every second of my massage both times was heaven on earth. I am a person who does not know how to relax ever and I was so relaxed during I was almost drooling. I got a membership and I do NOT pay for memberships. Will absolutely be treating myself to monthly massages. Oh and their watermelon water tastes exactly like watermelon jolly ranchers. Front desk staff is so nice too
