I’ve been coming here for about a year now and since day 1 the experience has been great every time. Since I was diagnosed with alopecia the services and improvements I’ve received from the staff (especially Titi) have been nothing other than amazing and greatly appreciated! They have grew my hair so much, gave me good advice, and their prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend anyone to come.

PSA: the price of your hair service is based on how straight or coiled your hair is. Over the phone I was quoted $120 for a wash & set and color. Once I arrived, the hairstylist looked at my hair and gave me 3 new prices of $195, $200, and $220. Then, she caught an attitude with me when I asked her for a price breakdown of the service because I was confused. We settled on $210 because I needed my hair done and it was late in the day. I spent 4 hours in this salon getting my hair pulled and tugged on.

Towards the end of the night, I noticed a young lady walk in requesting a wash & set. Her hair was in a big Afro. Once the hairstylist seen her hair, she told her “I know I quoted you $45 mami, but for you $85” while putting her hands over her head mimicking an Afro. The young lady seemed embarrassed and left the salon. Once she left, the employees began laughing at her and speaking in Spanish.

This is not a safe space for black women with natural, curly hair. I would never patronize this business again! I urge you to reconsider your decision when choosing a salon to support.

After relocating to the area, I had to find a new hair salon because my Dominican hair stylist of 12 years retired. This change was inevitable, as the 45-minute drive was becoming increasingly inconvenient. Over the years, I've heard concerning stories about Dominican salons not promoting healthy hair practices and using chemicals to straighten natural hair. I have been transitioning from relaxed to natural hair for over six months (frustrating process at times). I needed professional help and wanted to restore my highlights, so I decided to book an appointment with Lily, and I’m very pleased with my decision. She is sweet, patient, genuinely cares about hair health, and is a true professional. She takes her profession seriously and recommended products that would benefit my hair. I was fortunate to find my new hairstylist on the first attempt. God is good! Thank you, Lily!
