El problema es que una semana antes para el ensayo nos percatamos que el cuarto del novio no tenía aire acondicionado y dijeron que “estaba apagado”, y resulta que el día más esperado por meses en ese cuarto donde estaba mi esposo y toda su familia hacía un calor infernal con las temperaturas de pleno agosto! Debieron poner un aire portátil y prever el mal rato que nos hicieron pasar por lo que las fotografías tuvieron que ser afuera donde hacía aún más calor ?

My wife and I had the wedding of our dreams here at Vecoma at the yellow river. It was something out of a fairy tale. The service was exceptional and we had such a blast with our family and friends. It was such a special and magical day I'll never forget. Everything from the ceremony , to the reception and our send off was amazing. My wife and I want to give a big shout out to the Vecoma Staff, Caroline Tucker and Megan for capturing our special day. They are the best photographer and Videographer Team. Last month I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful wedding reception at the Vecoma at the yellow river! The venue is tucked back by the yellow river and is so serene and lovely! The couple decided to take their post ceremony photos on the property, and it offered such a variety for one location! The reception was held inside and was beautifully decorated and coordinated by a professional and pleasant team. I highly recommend couples consider the Vecoma for their Georgia wedding!

As a wedding designer at Daphne and Iris Florals and preferred vendor, Vecoma is at the top of my list as the perfect venue to host wedding celebrations. There are so many beautiful areas to enjoy including a waterfront outdoor arbor, gardens, a centuries old stone chimney, large deck overlooking the expansive outdoors and elegant ballroom for dining and dancing.

Each season is beautiful at Vecoma! The fall is particularly picturesque with brilliantly colored fall leaves, spring and summer offer gardens in full bloom. Should you opt for a winter wedding indoors, you can tie the knot in front of a romantic fireplace.

Located on 70 acres, a popular decorating theme I enjoy designing with is "Sunset in the Forest". This theme works well since the sun sets behind the ceremony arbor during a late afternoon/early evening wedding creating this amazing magical glow. Regardless of the theme or wedding color, any color palette works at Vecoma.

Caroline, the owner, and her staff go above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience on the big day. Chef Wanda and Chef AB's food is amazing too!

Compared to the more costly venues in town, the value and affordable cost that the venue offers is worth being outside of the perimeter. It offers a North Georgia "vibe" while being not far from Stone Mountain Park and the nightlife and shops of Decatur.

Truly a "diamond in the rough"! With over 25 years of creating magical celebrations, you have to do a tour to see for yourself how truly special this venue would be for your big day!

We couldn't have chosen a better venue than Vecoma! They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, providing everything we needed without the hassle of a wedding planner. From stunning decor and a professional DJ to top-notch photography, videography, and an open bar, they covered it all with amazing attention to detail. The food was delicious, the service was flawless, and the setting was beautiful—our guests are still raving about it! All of this was at an incredible value, too. We’re so grateful for Vecoma at the Yellow River and highly recommend them to anyone planning a celebration!

We just had our wedding reception at Vecoma on the Yellow River on June 8th, 2024. We fell in love with this venue back in 2022 when we were starting our wedding planning and figuring out where to have a reception. Caroline and her team are fantastic! They took the time and energy to make sure everything was set the way we wanted, the food was perfectly served, and the bartenders and servers were taking care of all the guests to make sure everyone was getting what they needed. We were very impressed with the DJ, Kirk, who played awesome music throughout our evening at Vecoma. He did not stop playing music and the guests enjoyed every minute of every song that was played...no one would leave the dance floor! I highly recommend Vecoma to anyone looking for a smaller and intimate setting- I mean just looking at the grounds, I was sold. The river is a stunning way to not only take pictures of the bride and groom, but for the guests to enjoy the grounds and look around. I also recommend hiring Caroline for pictures- she did an amazing job on our wedding pictures at a different location for the service and also at Vecoma for the reception; our family is still talking about the amazing photos. I love Vecoma and it will always have a big piece of our heart where my husband and I had all our guests come and celebrate the night away with us.
