It's fun to live and play here, from the beach with a pool to the Grand Canal and Rec Center Hall with all those amenities and that pool.

Nice place. Very clean. Not a good place for children, especially at the pool. Rules are stricly enforced. I understand no diving at the pool, but the rule against jumping is unreasonable. Just to be clear, we are not talking about an older teen doing a connon ball next to an older lady. We are talking about a kindergartener learning to swim, jumping into his waiting fathers arms. Yep, that's the big infraction. If you just want to get wet and stand still, then this is for you. If you have small children, you will surely be spoken to for small infractions. Don't bother. Its really not meant for kids. The kiddie pool on the other hand is good for toddlers. Just really read the rules. They will let you know quickly. The place is certainly run by a majority of elderly folks. I get it. They set the rules. Just think about this next time you start to wonder why the grandchildern don't want to visit you at Nettles Island.

Lots of nice amenities but lots of rules too. Keeps it nice there, but it's a lot of grumpy attitudes because of them. Security people were just plain grumpy. Some places seemed to be pretty good value to rent, and it is close to the beaches. Mini mart and staff there was absolutely 5 star. Rented kayaks and had a great time with them. We'll be back.
