I’m very disappointed, as this is the second time I’ve specifically booked with Michelle, only to arrive and be assigned to someone else. Neither time was I contacted to inform me that Michelle wouldn’t be available or to ask if I would mind seeing a different therapist. I drive all the way from Tamarac to Hollywood specifically for Michelle, and I wouldn’t have booked if there hadn’t been availability for her. It’s truly disheartening to say that after today, I won’t be returning. I arrived with tension in my lower back and left feeling exactly the same. I’ve never been so eager for a massage to end.

To be clear, the therapist who did my massage was very sweet and did her best, but I could have chosen from any number of places between Tamarac and Hollywood for what I received today. I’ve always spoken highly of this spa and recommended it to others, encouraging them to book with Michelle. However, after today, I feel like I wasted my money.

Michelle was amazing! Out of the 10-12 different massages I have had in my life, this was the best massage I have ever had! Her technique was excellent, hitting areas of the body others often neglect (side body/ribs), and moving the neck and legs to help with better stretching and alignment. The place was clean and relaxing. I loved the heated bed and massage stones used during the massage to really get the knots out. She did a great job of using the deep pressure I requested. I loved the complimentary tea at the end! I will definitely be back!

The massage therapist showed up 40 minutes after the start of my one hour appointment. I tried to be understanding and waited. The massage itself lasted less than 40 minutes! There was no one waiting after me so I’m baffled as to why after waiting all that time the service was cut short. The massage itself wasn’t bad but the whole experience of having to wait then having my appointment shortened was disappointing.

Bad business. I am in my third trimester of pregnancy, high risk, and was gifted a facial treatment session to help alleviate stress before giving birth. Due to an unforeseen family medical emergency I was given no choice but to reschedule my first prescheduled, already paid for appointment and the second appointment I outright forgot about it due to depression and external stressors. I called to explain my position to the staff both times and the second time I was informed that they charged me a $55 cancellation fee which is more than half of the $100 that was paid for the facial. They gave me no options to reschedule, no options for a refund of the remaining balance and no options to book a different service. They basically wanted me to pay the difference of what was taken for the cancellation fee so I would pretty much be paying an additional $55 out of pocket on top of the $100 that was already paid out. This is unacceptable bad business and needs to be exposed. I will be reporting to BBB.

Got a 60 min Swedish massage with Michelle. The vibe is immaculate. It’s a smaller place so it was just me. Which I appreciate! Michelle’s technique was perfect. I felt fully refreshed after. Michelle was not pushy or trying to force me into another appointment. There was also a delicious tea served at the end. Michelle told me the name like 3x’s but I cannot remember. Regardless, it’s really good.
