I have been going there for long but on and off. I love going to gym when I can and wish I could go to the gym everyday but have to work. I do have time going to gym while a week but sometimes I don’t feel like going there because I feel alone. My best friend and I used to go to gym together every nights after work like three years ago in St. Augustine. Before 2016, I love going to gym and outside… at 2016 to 2021, I had a horrible relationship and was a D.V. Survivor. With my ex, I became fat and decided to go to gym, again. He stopped me from going and he don’t like me going to gym. So, I started going to gym here in Fleming Island since last year and didn’t go because I have been anxiety and scared until this year, I have been forcing me to go… been losing weight and doing better. Those staff are friendly and always saying hello. Now, I feel comfortable and they keep cleaning all the time.

The price is inexpensive, but not worth it. I had to pay 60 dollars to escape their 1 year contract. I only went to the gym twice there. On top of that, you had to pay seperate for the lockers because they didn't come with locks like other gyms do. The place is obviously very clean so I give that a 5. The customer service is not good at all. I was suppose to get a t-shirt when I join and the online ad specifically said they had smalls and xsmall, and when I got there he said it only comes in large. Then I was suppose to get a tour of the place and no one bothered to do that even after I asked twice. They didn't seem to care about helping people. You can tell they were just there for a paycheck. The products weren't that great. The only good thing about the place was the massage chairs after a weak workout. The workouts were weak because some of the machines felt like they were broken or about to break. Specifically the squat machines since it's primary the reason I go to the gym. It wobbled. Sooo not worth it. Other gyms are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Other gyms have swimming pools, super friendly workers, massage chairs, personal trainers, dance classes--Free! I mean, this place was just a disappointment. The showers didn't have doors so I felt like anyone could pull back the curtain. It felt very invasive and not safe. I would not recommend this place. Not even for the low prices. Might as well stay home and work out. Save your ? money.

Customer service there is Nonexistent!! I try to be polite and they always look annoyed when I check in and ask for a tanning bed. I’ve never got a welcome or thank you or anything any time I’ve talked to an employee here. The beds have some bulbs glowing on the ends and I don’t think they sweep very often. I always feel like I’m bothering them. My previous location was top notch!

I want to thank the hardworking man Carter for stopping what he is cleaning at 4:45 a.m, to answer the phone calls. He has so far twice put me on the mechanical chair #14 for my massage therapy before I arrive at work to do a lot of cleaning for Clay County. You all are awesome!

2023 3-star review review: This place seems to be starting to go downhill a little. The weight racks are all supposed to have benches but apparently there’s not enough because they’re being found down in the free weight area. PLEASE order more benches and make sure the ones at the racks stay at the racks. It’s ridiculous! See picture.

My original 4-star review in 2015: This location is far better than Orange Park. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the don't have free weights on the benches. My husband is a power lifter and it keeps him from going with me to do the bench. He goes there for everything else. They do however have assisted bench weights.

Worst gym company ever! I signed up when they run the promotion for a free month, was charged for it a week later, 3 days following I was charged for a yearly subscription. When calling I was told there was no manager on duty to speak to and when going up in person, was told I cannot cancel until overdue balance was paid off. I'm currently in contact with a legal team and have decided to pursue the matter with a class action case against Planet Fitness Gymnasium. It really sucks cause I just wanted to tan and find a personal trainer! ?

The gym is kept clean. I like how they've utilized the space, it feels more intuitive than a few other locations. The staff is great (I don't know what some other reviewers are talking about...I've never been treated poorly, or ignored), everyone is helpful and probably working harder than they're being paid for! Amenities are good, but it would be awesome to see a Hybrid Light installed!!
