Went there for the first time and can say I will definitely go back. Amazing staff, clean place. Friendly environment overall. Prices are great, and most importantly, the haircut is amazing. Thank you so much tenleytown barbershop!! And Mom who cut my hair.

I used to go to the Supercuts, but I tried Tenleytown Barbershop because I wanted to look good for a job interview. I was blown away by their skill and quality of service. There's a difference between a haircut shop and a barber shop, and these people are barbers. They know what they're doing and care about making it look good. Affordable prices, too. The job interview was a couple years ago, but I've gone to Tenleytown Barbershop ever since then.

I am relieved and so grateful to have stumbled across this barbershop. My son was able to get his fade just the way he wanted it. They are quick and make sure that you are happy with the cut while you are in the chair. I haven’t had great luck with haircuts in this area because lots of the barbershops we went to didn’t have tougher combs or picks for kinky hair and they didn’t know how to cut his hair. We have had many too many bad experiences but at the barber’s name is TRY(pronounced tree). He did an amazing job on my sons head we will definitely be loyal to him so we don’t have to drive from Georgetown to southeast. We can come right to tenleytown. Thank you TRY

I always get a great haircut when I come into Tenley town barbershop. May the barber who I go to always. She is wonderful and so are the other barbers in the facility. I definitely recommend you check them out. Im moving soon and I’m going to miss May’s warm welcome, good conversations, and of course my haircut. Thank you for the great service everyone I came in.

I went for the first time recently for a really short haircut for myself. I got a great haircut from May, who took my pictures and wishes seriously, listened, and had some ideas of her own which worked out great. So pleased with this haircut- it is growing in very nicely. Will definitely be going back!

I have been to the barbershop and encountered a group of friendly workers (Most of the workers are kind and respectful). However, one barber was consistently inappropriate and rough. Despite clearly stating my desired hairstyle, this barber made changes without my consent and handled my hair roughly when I reiterated my preference. Additionally, he made comments in another language that, while I cannot confirm were explicitly derogatory, seemed to target a specific ethnic group based on the context and his tone. His behavior towards me was inappropriate and unsettling. This entire experience left me feeling disrespected.
