Very pleasant experience! The salon was very clean and pleasant. I’m happy with how my nails turned out. Regular manicure included a paraffin dip and short massage.

Ada and Leah always do a fantastic job on my nails. They really take the time to make sure they are perfect. I always get UV gel and it lasts for 3/4 weeks 🙂 10/10

Warm and friendly staff and atmosphere. Best shellac mani and service you can get! Awesome pedicures too (highly recommend the Green Tea Spa one)! Reasonably priced for everything you get, conveniently located, the staff are always so welcoming and happy to help you pick colors or answer any questions you have. Definitely make an appointment just to be safe. While they do everything to accomodate walk ins and can usually see you, more often than not they're jam packed with loyal customers. Oh ya, and you get a mini back and shoulder rub during your manicure which is honestly probably my favorite thing about Modern Nails lol. Love everything about this place-no matter what service you opt for, you will leave feeling pampered and more relaxed than you anticipated. I recommend Modern Nails to anyone wanting to treat themselves or a loved one.

I had my nails done by Leah and they came out great but my sister went to Ada and hers came out horrible. She said Ada was miserable the whole time and seemed frustrated and rushed with her nails, they’re all bumpy and the simple spider web design on her right nails looks smudged and like it was done in a hurry because she messed up the first time and didn’t let the nail dry properly the second time. My sister could’ve done a better job at home doing it herself.

I understand this is a very busy time of year for pedicures hence the reason I made an appointment. Initially I arrived to my 3:30 appointment 20 minutes early and thought if they could take me sooner great. They were unable to which was not a problem. I said I would run a quick errand and be back for 3"30. Arrived back at 3:31, picked a color and proceeded to sit there til 3:46 without so much as an acknowledgment that they were running behind and they would be with me soon. I walked out and will not return. My time is very valuable too and certainly didn't feel like they cared in the least. Going back to Colchester!
