I simply love this place. My mom and I drive up from Cañon to come here for their deluxe pedicures. The staff is lovely and so sweet! The prices are amazing and the quality of mani pedis are excellent. We see Kim and Lucas often. They are absolutely wonderful humans.

The first appointment I had with Ester went very well, however, in less than a week the gel polish I paid extra to get was already coming off. I called to make another appointment to get it fixed. She took the polish off and changed the whole look; the flower, the color of the flower, the glitter, and color of glitter. I was ok with it since I was told it wouldn't cost me anything to get them fixed and I figured I'd be back in a week and a half anyways to get a fill. While doing my nails Ester tells me the polish she used doesnt work so well with powder nails and that is why it chipped so fast.Then when I went to pay for my son's eyebrow waxing she also charged me $30 to fix my nails but said she wasn't charging me for the flower design or the glitter. What she was charging me for then made no sense. The receptionist got the owner, I explained that I had already paid for gel polish which should last at least a week, I was told I wouldn't have to pay to have them fixed. Ester said because she did something different I was being charged. I didn't want anything different, I was never asked or told I would have to pay if she did anything different. Plus why should I pay if she used a polish she knew wouldn't last? Eric (the owner) had me pay for the flower design she did only. Ester got very upset, acted very unprofessional, and made very rude and uncalled for comments. The more I thought about it the more upset I got being I just paid for something I didn't want or even like. Had she done the exact design that I chose a week prior and or told me ahead of time she would be charging me I probalby wouldn't have minded paying. Although, I say probably because a week prior to that I spent $180 there getting a pedicure (which I also paid extra for the gel polish) and a new set, $35 of that was the tip I left Ester. If I'm happy with my nails I try to tip accordingly. I'm not made of money and spending over $200 in a week's time for nails that are ok is not acceptable. I did give 2 stars because the actual salon is very nice, clean, and well kept, but more so for the receptionist, she was great; friendly, sympathetic, understanding, professional, and just really nice. I truly like her and think they are really lucky to have her.
I attached a photo of what I wanted, the first time she did my nails they were really close to what I asked for. I also attached a photo of my nails after she re-did them due to the chipping, the ones she wanted me to pay for. You can see they are VERY different and look nothing like what I wanted which is why I didn't like them. The flower was no where near the same and does not even match the color.
