I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Melanie at Advanced Medical Aesthetics. After years of lacking in self care, I was given Melanie's name for assistance with medical weight-loss. After safely losing 30 pounds and gaining some self care, I have been going back to Melanie for photo-facials, skin care, and just general learning how to love myself again. Melanie is an amazingly skilled technician of her craft and a truly genuine human being.

Melanie is through in my skin care. She counseled me in what I needed to do to improve the health of my skin. I was using some products that weren’t beneficial for my skin care, she explained to me why and changed them for better ones. I continue going to her for my Botox, peels and all my skin care needs. I do recommend her to other people and the best part she works with my budget.

I have always been cautious about seeking help with my skin. My dermatologist always just said wash your face, wear your sunscreen, you will age gracefully and while I trusted her input, I wanted more for my skin. I have had sun damage that has darkened with age and really wanted to do something about it, so I tried lots of different skincare lines over the years, a chemical peel that really didn't do much except make me peel like a lizard and never pursued anything with an aesthetician because I'd hear about the scary scenarios and never wanted to risk something bad. Last December, I visited Melanie's clinic with a friend for her Neurotoxin appointment and while she was receiving treatment, I landed a remote job as Melanie's scheduling manager. Full transparency, I am still working this job as I complete this review but I have to imagine people will appreciate my hesitancy and story because they may be able to relate. I started working and training with Melanie and her passion as well as her extensive knowledge were evident in all her communication, follow up, and care for her patients. She is thorough, conservative with treatment, truly listens to her patients and wants the very best results for all. After 6 months of observing and working with her, I knew she would be the only person I would trust with helping me with my skin. I flew to Colorado for my first photo facial, neurotoxin, and filler appointment. Go big and go home back to Texas was the theme! 10 days later my skin looks completely different-stubborn dark spots are gone, my skin is brighter, fine lines that existed are smoother, and the recovery was so simple and easy. Melanie checked on my progress and results, provided specific feedback for the recovery process, was thorough with all my questions, and explained everything she did throughout each treatment. I cannot recommend Melanie more- she has boosted my overall confidence while honoring my skin goals to age gracefully and not change my overall look too drastically. Absolutely thrilled with my results and so thankful for Melanie and all her wisdom/experience-she knows what she is doing!

I highly recommend Nurse Practitioner Melanie Palmer to anyone looking to improve the appearance, quality, and texture of their skin. I did a series of photo facials and now I don’t have to cover my skin with foundation to feel confident. I can go out wearing tinted sunscreen because the redness and hyperpigmentation are a nearly gone. Thanks to the NP Melanie Palmer, my skin looks and feels better than it has in over a decade thanks to her skilled, non-invasive treatments.
